The rapid digital transformation of education has had a significant impact on teaching
and learning processes in higher education institutions. In particular, the integration of digital
technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) tools has created new opportunities to improve the quality
of teacher training and promote innovative pedagogical practices. This study explores the
pedagogical potential of digital technologies and AI in developing the creative competence of future
English language teachers. The article analyzes the theoretical foundations of creativity and
competency-based education, examines the role of digital technologies in language learning
environments, and identifies the opportunities and challenges associated with the implementation of
AI-based educational tools.
