THE IMPORTANCE OF LEARNING ENGLISH IN MODERN EDUCATION

Abstract

This article analyzes the importance of learning English in the modern education system. It examines the role of English in providing access to global knowledge, developing communication skills, and expanding educational and professional opportunities. The study employs a descriptive approach based on the analysis of scientific sources and educational literature. It is shown that proficiency in English has a positive impact on students’ academic performance and ensures their active participation in global educational processes. In addition, English plays an important role in developing critical thinking and intercultural communication skills.
