This article examines the structure and development trends of the
education system in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). The study aims
to analyze the organization of the education system, levels of education, and the role of
higher education in national development. The relevance of the research is determined
by the increasing importance of higher education in global economic and social
processes. The author applies a descriptive and comparative approach based on
statistical data and official reports. The results show that higher education has become
one of the key sectors of the TRNC economy, particularly due to international student
mobility. At the same time, structural imbalances such as weak vocational education
and dependence on foreign students are identified. The scientific novelty of the study
lies in the integrated analysis of education structure and its economic impact. The
findings contribute to understanding the strategic role of education in small-state
development.
