Abstract. The study of meaning construction has become one of the central concerns of cognitive linguistics. Among the theories explaining how people create and interpret meaning, Conceptual Blending Theory (CBT), developed by Gilles Fauconnier and Mark Turner, has gained significant scholarly attention. The theory explains how individuals integrate information from different mental spaces to produce new conceptual structures and emergent meanings. Rather than viewing meaning as a fixed property of language, CBT emphasizes the creative and dynamic processes of human cognition.
