Abstract. This thesis examines the methodology of developing students’ communicative competence in English through artificial intelligence (AI) tools. It focuses on the use of AI-powered chatbots, speech recognition systems, pronunciation assistants, and interactive learning platforms to improve students’ speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammatical skills. The integration of AI into English language teaching creates opportunities for personalized learning, immediate feedback, and increased student engagement. The thesis also highlights the importance of combining AI-based activities with traditional teaching methods to achieve effective learning outcomes.
