Abstract

Abstract: The current article aims at providing general information about pictures and their effective use and importance in foreign language classes. The article deals with the benefits of using visual aids in practicing various language skills such as: structures, vocabulary, functions as well as listening, reading, writing, speaking skills. Proper ways of choosing pictures, when and how to use them and recommendations of some leading experts of the sphere are shown and proven in the article by examples.
