Abstract

This article examines the linguistic and terminological aspects of
artificial intelligence and smart tourism vocabulary in modern English and
Uzbek languages. Technological innovations have transformed tourism
communication, generating new lexical units connected with AI, automation,
and digital services. The study investigates semantic structures, borrowing
processes, and translation issues related to smart tourism terminology.
Comparative linguistic analysis demonstrates that English functions as the
dominant source of technological tourism vocabulary. Uzbek tourism discourse
actively incorporates AI-related terminology through transliteration and
semantic adaptation. The article concludes that smart tourism terminology
reflects technological globalization and the evolution of professional
communication.
