In this article, a process for synthesizing highly dispersed NaA zeolite of the LTA type based on metakaolin was developed and its physicochemical properties were comprehensively studied. The main goal of the study was to determine the optimal conditions for obtaining synthetic zeolite with high adsorption and ion-exchange activity based on local raw materials. The effects of the thermal activation parameters of metakaolin, the molar composition of the reaction mixture, alkali concentration, crystallization temperature and duration on the formation of the zeolite phase were analyzed. The obtained samples were characterized using X-ray phase analysis (XRA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and low-temperature N₂ adsorption methods. The results showed that under optimal conditions, LTA-type zeolite with a high degree of crystallinity and a microporous structure was formed
