Kidney diseases constitute a significant global health burden due to their increasing prevalence and association with high morbidity and mortality. Early and accurate diagnosis is essential for timely intervention and prevention of disease progression. Modern laboratory diagnostics play a pivotal role in the detection, classification, monitoring, and prognostic assessment of renal disorders. In addition to conventional biochemical tests, recent advances have introduced novel biomarkers and molecular techniques that enhance diagnostic precision. This thesis highlights contemporary laboratory approaches used in the diagnosis of kidney diseases and their clinical significance [17,19].
