Abstract

Abstract: This article provides a contrastive analysis of animal-basedidioms in English and Uzbek languages. It explores the cultural similarities and differences in how animals symbolize human traits. The study reveals that while some animal metaphors are universal, many are shaped by specific national and religious traditions.
