This article examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in developing the writing skills of students learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). It analyses the use of AI for grammar correction, vocabulary development, text organisation, and written feedback, drawing on existing research and practical examples. The article also considers the pedagogical and ethical limitations of AI-assisted writing
