This article examines the linguistic features of paralinguistic means in English and Uzbek languages. Paralinguistic means play an important role in human communication because they strengthen, clarify, or sometimes completely change the meaning of spoken words. The study analyzes verbal and non-verbal interaction, focusing on gestures, facial expressions, intonation, pauses, voice tone, eye contact, and body language in English and Uzbek communicative culture. The article also highlights similarities and differences between English and Uzbek paralinguistic systems and explains how national mentality, traditions, and cultural values influence communication styles. Special attention is given to the role of paralinguistic elements in intercultural communication, language teaching, and everyday speech. The research emphasizes that understanding paralinguistic means is essential for successful communication and prevention of misunderstandings between speakers of different cultures. Practical examples from English and Uzbek conversations are included to demonstrate how paralinguistic signals function in real communicative situations
