Abstract

Abstract This article examines the role of the service sector in improving the quality of life of the population under conditions of economic modernization and sustainable development. The study analyzes the theoretical foundations of the relationship between service sector development and quality of life indicators, including income levels, employment, access to education and healthcare, social inclusion, and overall well-being. Particular attention is given to the impact of digitalization, innovation, and service diversification on socio-economic development. Based on a review of contemporary literature and international experience, a methodological framework for assessing the contribution of the service sector to quality-of-life improvement is proposed. The findings suggest that the expansion and modernization of service industries contribute significantly to human development, economic growth, and social welfare.
