Annotation: Pre-election political communication has become one of the most influential tools in shaping public opinion and electoral behavior. Political actors use language strategically to persuade voters, establish authority, and communicate messages that align with their political goals. In contemporary societies, especially with the rapid growth of digital media, election campaigns rely heavily on persuasive discourse and pragmatic language choices. This article examines the relationship between persuasion, power, and pragmatics in pre-election political communication. It explores how political leaders use linguistic strategies to influence audiences, construct political identities, and gain electoral support. The study also discusses the growing role of social media platforms in modern political campaigns and highlights the significance of critical analysis of political discourse.
