Abstract

This article explores the emergence and development of digital tourism terminology in English and Uzbek languages. The rapid growth of information technologies and online tourism platforms has introduced numerous new lexical units into tourism discourse. The study analyzes semantic, structural, and linguocultural features of digital tourism terms, their adaptation into Uzbek, and translation challenges. Comparative and descriptive methods were used to identify similarities and differences between the two languages. The research demonstrates that English serves as the primary source of tourism terminology, while Uzbek adopts and modifies many international terms according to national linguistic norms. The findings reveal that digital tourism terminology reflects globalization, technological advancement, and intercultural communication processes.
