This article provides a comprehensive theoretical and legal analysis of the issues of developing a legal state and civil society in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It examines the essence of the legal state as a form of state organization based on the rule of law, the separation of powers, and the priority of human rights and freedoms. The study also explores the concept of civil society as a system of independent institutions that ensure the participation of citizens in public administration and the protection of their lawful interests.
Particular attention is paid to the interrelationship between the legal state and civil society, the constitutional and legal mechanisms guaranteeing human rights, and the role of non-governmental organizations, mass media, and public control. The study formulates scientifically grounded conclusions and proposals aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, enhancing legal culture, and ensuring the effective realization of the principle of the rule of law.
