This extended scientific thesis analyzes the functional and structural aspects of the category of the 'concept' at the convergence of modern cognitive linguistics and linguaculturology. Drawing from theoretical data extracted from English and Karakalpak literary and historical frameworks, the paper models how human conceptual systems transition from rational, lexicographical dictionary cores to culturally specific, value-laden peripheral networks. By reviewing Western metaphorical frameworks alongside post-Soviet multi-layered linguacultural traditions, this research sets up a balanced paradigm for interpreting cultural codes. Specific attention is directed towards foundational existential, sociological, and ethical concepts such as 'Freedom', 'Life', and 'Honour' as materialized within 20th-century poetry and classical epics. Ultimately, the thesis maps out the structural patterns that divide individualistic Western socio-philosophical constructions from communal, nature-integrated Eastern worldview matrices.
